It really depends on the programs you run and how old your machine is now. Most G5s hold their own against the Intel based macs.	We can help you recycle your computer. They both have there place and now the prices are getting closer. Inkjets can print more Photo realistic images, but Laserprinters are still less expensive in the long run with volume printing.
